We are the Ponca Pedalers.

We are a group of cyclists who enjoy cycling and wish to experience the benefits of a local bike club.

Ponca, NE offers a wide variety of possibilities.

Presently, we are meeting once a month to organize our maiden voyage of the Pedal Ponca ride.

Eventually, we will work to organize regular activities through the biking months.

We have a three mile bike path that connects Ponca to Ponca State Park.

Ponca State Park offers great hills that are paved and excellent terrain for mountain biking.

For the road bikes:

Highway 12 has a 9 mile paved shoulder from Ponca south to Highway 20. Highway 12 also offers a beautiful ride to the west with little traffic. The first 10 miles to Newcastle are relatively level. West of Newcastle, the terrain is hilly. Highway 9 offers a flat 7.5 mile ride to Martinsburg. South of Martinsburg, the hills begin. Highway 20 has a lot of traffic but it also has a good shoulder to ride on from South Sioux City to Highway 16.
